Dr. Nonhlanhla Princess Ntimane, born in Masibekela in the Nkomazi region, began her journey at Ehlanzeni TVET College's Mlumati Campus on 1 February 2000. She has now earned her doctorate, with a dissertation examining the leadership and management practices of heads of department in TVET colleges.
Her road was not easy: she navigated data-collection barriers, participant withdrawal and financial constraints, all while working full-time. Today she serves as Education Specialist for Fundamentals at the college, supported along the way by her mentors, Prof N. Ndou and Prof S. Mokoena.
Her advice to students: "Set realistic expectations, prioritize self-care, build a strong support network, and stay focused."
