Provisionally accepted students must submit their final results from 02 February 2026.
Who counts as a new student?
You are a new student if you are applying to Ehlanzeni TVET College for the first time. To apply you must have passed Grade 9 (for NC(V) and Report 191 N1 programmes) or hold a National Senior Certificate (for Report 191 N4 programmes).

All three steps are completed on the college's online application portal.
Complete the Career Guidance Exploration
Explore programmes and career paths on the application portal to find the course that fits your goals.
Complete the Pre-Entry Placement Assessment
The placement screening is compulsory and must be completed by you personally. You keep the right to choose your own course based on your preference.
Complete the online application and attach your documents
Submit the online application form with all required documents. Selection is done by the Selection Committee and applicants are notified of provisional acceptance by SMS.

Documents you need (South African students)
- Certified copy of your South African ID
- Certified copies of your parents' or guardians' IDs
- Certified copies of IDs of other household dependants
- Certified copy of your latest results
- Proof of address with next-of-kin contact details
- Proof of parents'/guardians' income (salary advice, letter of employment or pension advice)
Documents should not be older than 3 months.
Additional documents for international students
- Certified copies of your passport
- A valid study permit
- SAQA evaluation of your foreign qualification
- Proof of medical insurance/cover
- Certified English translations of any documents not issued in English

Apply for NSFAS before you apply to study
No academic application will be considered without proof of application for an NSFAS bursary. Apply on the myNSFAS portal first, then complete your college application. For NSFAS funding eligibility, combined household income may not exceed R350,000 per annum.
