HOUSE KEEPING SUPERVISOR
MAPULANENG CAMPUS
REF NO: P01/2013
SALARY: R 90 396.00 pa
Requirements:
- Grade 12/Matric qualification
- Credible and appropriate work experience in the field of housekeeping or housekeeping supervision
- Advanced cooking and housekeeping skills
- Basic first aid knowledge
- Sound financial administartion skills
- Innovative thinking and problem solving skills
- Good planning and organising skills
- Thoroughness, honesty, integrity and the willingness to work hard, coupled with work pride
- Appropriate verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to perform accurately and methodically under pressure
- Basic supervisory skills
- Computer literacy
- Valid driver's license
Key performance areas:
- Plan and oversee the preparation and serving of meals
- Cook meals utilising recipes and menus
- Ensure that the hygiene of the hostel, kitchen facilities, etc is of an outstanding standard
- Ensure the boarders receive the correct food portions, both in terms of size and nutritional value
- keep records accurately and do stock control
- Plan and delegate duties and supervise the performnace of hostel staff
- Assist with hostel and college functions
- Provide guidance to students
- Assist with general control in respect of the discipline and morale in the hostel
- Assist with the personal development and support of students
- Render First Aid assistance to sick or injured students
HOUSE HOLD AID
MAPULANENG CAMPUS
REF NO: P02/2013
SALARY: R 63 798.00 pa
Requirements:
- Grade 12/Matric qualification
- Relevant work experience
- Basic knowledge of relevant cleaning equipment
- Ability to utilise a limited range of basic cleaning equipment, methods and application to keep working areas clan and tidy
- Thoroughness, honesty, integrity and willingness to work hard, coupled with pride.
- Appropriate communication skills
- Sound interpersonal relaions
- Ability to work under pressure
Key performance areas:
- Clean hostel facilities
- Assist with catering
- Assist with the well being of students
- Provide support service to students
- Render First Aid assistance to sick or injured students
ANIMAL ASSISTANT
MTHIMBA CAMPUS
REF NO: P03/2013
SALARY: R 63 798.00 pa
Requirements:
- Grade 12/Matric qualification
- Experience to work with animals
- Thoroughness, honesty, integrity and to work hard coupled with pride
- Ability to work under pressure
Requirements:
- Assist with dip service at dip-tanks
- Maintain infrastructure at dip tanks
- Take care of animals and plants
- Provide support regarding animal disease control
- Co-ordinate and liaise with relevant lecturers
- Render administrative duties
