College information

Hello, I am Dr JT Dhlamini. The principal at Ehlanzeni TVET College.

Ehlanzeni Technical and Vocational Educational and Training (TVET) College adapted to the National paradigm shift in Education as promulgated by the Minister of Higher Education and Training, Dr Blade Nzimande on 09 January 2014. The Honourable Minister pronounced the change of South African Colleges from Further Education and Training (FET) to TVET in view of articulating the differences between High Schools and Colleges. This has brought about a new portrait of the TVET Sector as Colleges are now geared to become ‘Institutions of first Choice’ rather than glorified High Schools registering learners who did not make it at Universities and Universities of Technology.
